Tarana Kaur, a resident of Surrey, was recently crowned as Mrs. India Worldwide 2019-2020, in Mumbai bringing this crown for the very first time to Canada. Tarana moved to Canada two years ago with her son and husband. She is a certified & awarded yoga instructor and runs her yoga studio in Surrey helping mental, emotional and physical fitness for adults and kids. She is also an actor, emcee, journalist and TV anchor. She was appreciated by the Consul General of India for her yoga. She believes in giving love, compassion and doing service to the community. She first won the title of Mrs India Canada 2019 on Aug 3 by the not for profit organization, Ravishing Women.
She was subsequently crowned Mrs. India Worldwide in Mumbai. Mrs. India Worldwide was organized on September 3-7 in Leela Hotel in Mumbai, India along with Miss India Worldwide and Miss Teen India Worldwide. Tarana was crowned for the first time from Canada as Mrs. India Worldwide on September 7. Ravishing Women is a nonprofit working with a mission to encourage, inspire, appreciate and empower Women. Mrs. India Worldwide platform by IFC was founded by USA based Dharmatma Saran and Neelam Saran who is operating this from over last 36 years as founder of longest-running Indian pageant outside India. They run Miss India Worldwide, Mrs. India Worldwide & Miss Teen India Worldwide pageants. Their pageant is operated in over 42 countries and has provided a platform for many girls and women to make their career in acting, dancing, singing & even opportunities in Bollywood.
