One dead in Sunday night collision on Vancouver’s South East Marine Drive

VANCOUVER police are investigating a collision on South East Marine Drive that resulted in the death of a driver on Sunday night.

Around 9:15 p.m., a car traveling eastbound on South East Marine Drive near Buscombe Street ‎struck a westbound semi truck and a second vehicle. The driver of the car, the single occupant, was treated by first responders at the scene. Unfortunately, he did not survive.

There were no other injuries in the collision. The occupants of the other vehicles involved are cooperating with the police.

The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
