New hotel in Surrey creates 100s of jobs; hiring fair on September 19

Surrey’s newest landmark Civic Hotel, Autograph Collection and accompanying restaurant, Dominion Bar + Kitchen, will be hosting a hiring fair on September 19, looking to fill 165 new positions ahead of its opening in November 2017.

The boutique 144-room hotel, and accompanying restaurant, are located at the heart of Surrey’s new City Centre, just a 30-minute SkyTrain ride from downtown Vancouver and with both the Surrey Central Exchange and SkyTrain stop on its doorstop, it couldn’t be more convenient.

The growing Civic team is looking to add professional and motivated team members of all levels of experience to provide stand out, personalized experiences for guests and the local community. Positions to be filled include: Servers and Bartenders, Bussers, Hosts, Sous Chefs, Chef de Partie, Cooks and Dishwashers, Housekeeping Supervisors, Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, Housekeepers, Front Desk Agents, Bell Staff, Concierge, Switchboard and Reservations, Security Supervisors and Officers and Shift Engineers.
