SURREY RCMP are currently on the scene in the 13900-block of 72nd Avenue investigating the murder of a male who was shot dead.
Just before midnight on Tuesday (April 9), police received multiple 911 calls reporting shots heard in the area. Police attended the area and found an injured male who died from his injuries at the scene. Surrey RCMP and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) officers are presently on the scene.
One resident told the media that they heard machinegun fire for 30 seconds.
Surrey RCMP are seeking the public`s assistance and are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have video surveillance or dash cam video to call then at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers in reference to Surrey File # 2019-050485.
